Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Medium Cool, the classic 1969 Haskell Wexler journalism photography television news pseudo-documentary ("Beyond the age of innocence... into the age of awareness"; "Written & directed by Haskell Wexler"; about news photographers, partly set at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and incorporating actual footage from the Convention) starring Robert Forster, Verna Bloom, Peter Bonerz, Marianna Hill, Harold Blankenship, Christine Bergstrom, Peter Boyle (in his first credited movie role!), and Haskell Wexler. Note that this was one of the rare mainstream movies that (like Midnight Cowboy) was released with an X rating, but because some theaters refused to show such movies, it was successfully appealed and changed to an R rating. The studio created snipes to cover the original rating on many posters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There are creases and scuffs throughout the poster. There are smudges and a few tiny tears in the borders, two pairs of staple holes in the center of the poster, and a Canadian censor stamp in the upper left blank white area.. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Learn More about condition grades
