Popkin black African American New York City Harlem gangster crime thriller starring Ralph Cooper, Gladys Snyder, Reginald Fenderson (billed as "Reggie Fenderson"), Laurence Criner, and Monte Hawley. Note that the IMDb lists this as a Toddy picture, but it is yet one more case where the IMDb is completely wrong, because actually, like many other late 1930s and early 1940s black movies, Toddy picked up the distribution rights for this movie, and then re-released it as one of their own in the 1940s. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this item is from the very rare original 1940 Million Dollar release of this movie, and NOT from the 1940s Toddy re-release (and items from that re-release are often mistakenly sold as originals). Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut!
