Note that this was one of the few Tarzan movies where there was no "Jane" at all (Maureen O'Sullivan was an MGM contract player, and the series had switched to RKO!; they explained her absence by saying that she was "visiting relatives in England"!) The poster had many creases along both foldlines. It had pinholes and creases around the edges, with some slight smudging in the borders and in the yellow background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
