Date Sold 7/9/2023Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 21 lobby cards from George Sanders movies. George Sanders was an English actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: All About Eve (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Rebecca, and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. He passed away in 1972 at the age of 65, committing suicide. His note is as follows: "Dear World, I am leaving because I am bored. I feel I have lived long enough. I am leaving you with your worries in this sweet cesspool. Good luck." Sanders was also Tom Conway's brother. Conway changed his name after a coin toss so the brothers wouldn't get confused! Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1940s to the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Condition: good to very good.
