The Road to Romance, the 1927 John S. Robertson silent Cuba tropical island romantic love triangle action adventure thriller (based on the novel 'Romance' by Joseph Conrad; about a Cuban rich man and his sister who are held prisoner by the governor of the island, who wants to seize their fortune and marry the sister, but a man arrives from Spain, who sometimes says he is a "Captain of the Dragoons" and sometimes says he is a pirate, and he saves them and wins the love of the pretty sister) starring Ramon Novarro, Marceline Day, Marc McDermott, Roy D'Arcy, and Cesare Gravina. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
