An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style D One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Maisie, the 1939 Edwin L. Marin romantic comedy ("The Explosive Blonde!"; "Blonde bonfire Maisie is in society now!"; the first in the popular Maisie Ravier series) starring Robert Young, Ann Sothern (in the title role as Maisie Ravier), Ruth Hussey, Ian Hunter, and Cliff Edwards

Condition: good. The poster had been slightly trimmed on the top and bottom blank borders. There was paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines. There were diagonal creases in the top left corner and many pinholes, tears, smudges, stains, and some tiny paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (but any restorer could probably touch them up without re-backing the poster).
