An Original Vintage Unfolded German Stage Play Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 33 1/4" [59 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Sonntags Kinder (literally translates to "Sundays Children"), the 1980s German stage play production (of the play by Gerlind Reinshagen; about the affect of the Nazis and war on a family) which was held at the Stadtische Buhnen in Munster, Germany. Note that this poster features a Nazi-era postcard (with a stamp featuring Albrecht Durer art, as well as a 1939 Hitler stamp!) design by Holger Matthies. Holger Matthies is a German graphic artist from the 1970s to the present. Over the course of more than four decades, he has designed more than 1000 posters, making him one of the world's most prolific poster artists. He is best known for his designs for theater and opera productions, exhibitions, concerts, and political satire shows. His portfolio is further swelled by social and political posters, cover designs for magazines and books, as well as numerous LP and CD covers.
