An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Play Girl, the 1932 Ray Enright bad girl romantic melodrama ("She had to take the worst of life to make the best of it!"; "Can 'anybody's girl' be one man's wife? She tried everything once - even marriage!"; about a lower class girl who tries to raise herself by working hard at a department store, but then she falls for a handsome young man, and he turns out to be a degenerate gambler, and then she becomes pregnant) starring Loretta Young, Winnie Lightner, Norman Foster, Guy Kibbee, Dorothy Burgess, and Noel Madison. Note that Loretta Young was just 19 years old when she made this movie, and she really elevates it, even though it is a story that was told over and over in movies at this time. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
