An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) George 'Spanky' McFarland was one of the most famous child actors of all time! He started making "Our Gang" comedies when he was four, and he made around 100 of them over the next 11 years. He retired from movies in 1942, and lived a movie-free life, passing away in 1993 at the age of 64. Important Added Info: Note that this great still of Spanky has an "APPROVED" stamp dated "MAR 1 1935". Someone wrote "Beginner's Luck" on the back of the top of the still. We would think it is from that short, but we can't say for certain. Also, it may be a candid, and the nurse may be a real nurse who is on set to take care of the kids. If an Our Gang expert knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
