An Original Vintage French Campaign Book (measures 10" x 12 1/2" [25 x 32 cm]; 108 pages) (Learn More) Paramount 1922-23, the 1922 French campaign book sent to theater owners to encourage them to show their new movies. It has mostly two-page spreads for upcoming Paramount movies, and they include some really great ones including John Barrymore in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Rudolph Valentino in The Sheik, multiple pages of Fatty Arbuckle, and much more! Campaign books in general are extremely rare, but ones from France from before World War II are even more rare, and ones from the silent days are beyond rare! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this French campaign book! Condition: good to very good. There is a 7" V-shaped tear on the last interior page, which affects the image, and there are scuffs within the "V". The six pages before it have small tears at the top.
