(Learn More) The History of EC Comics, the $199 2020 Grant Geissman Taschen illustrated historical book detailing the history of EC Comics (E.C. Comics). Note that this book features "more than 1,000 illustrations that include the rarest and most notorious covers, interior pages and panels, photos, and vintage original artwork". Note that before this book was published, the "ultimate" book on EC Comics was EC Horror Library of the 1950s, designed by Ron Barlow and published by Woody Gelman. That coffee table book measured a very large 10" x 14" , and was always referred to in the EC collecting hobby as "The Big Book". So when THIS even more massive 12" x 18" book came out in 2020, it immediately acquired the nickname of "The Bigger Book"! Important Added Info: Note that this massive book (which weighs 15 pounds!) is in its original shrink-wrap. We did not want to open it, in case the winning bidder values having an untouched example, so we did not open it to picture the contents. However, we took two images from the Taschen site, and provide a link to their pages on this book above, so you can easily and quickly see what its contents are. The book originally sold for $199, but this auction starts at $1 with no reserve, and it WILL sell to the highest bidder, no matter what the final bid price is. However, bear in mind it will have to be sent in a very large box that weighs over 15 pounds, so bear this added expense in mind before bidding. Condition: fine.
