An Original Vintage Spanish Campaign Book (measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" [24 x 32 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More) UFA 1928, the 1928 Spanish export campaign book promoting upcoming UFA (Universum Film Aktiengesellschaft) movies, which included Metropolis, Der Heilige Berg (The Holy Mountain), The Last Waltz, A Modern Du Barry, and more. Note that at this time, the massive UFA company was the dominant filmmaker, not only in Germany, but also throughout Europe, and they made this export campaign book for when their movies were shown in Spain, so the ads are Spanish ads for German movies, including, of course, Metropolis, which gets a two-page spread! Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Spanish campaign book! Condition: good to very good. The campaign book was apparently rolled at one time and has light vertical creases, with some uneven darkening around the edges of the cover and some creases and smudges scattered in the interior pages (see our images).
