An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Madame of the Jury, the 1930 Arthur Hurley jury courtroom murder crime melodrama short starring Judith Anderson (in the title role; the Australian actress in her very first movie!), John Patrick, Allan Wood, Philip Leigh, and Betty Ross Clarke (billed as "Betty Ross"). Note that this is a fascinating short subject that appears to be about one of the first women to be allowed to serve on a formerly all-male jury, and that woman is played by legendary Australian actress Judith Anderson, who appeared in this single short, and then made one appearance three years later, and then did not make another movie for seven years! We would love to know more about this, but this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
