McLeod romantic screwball comedy ("It tops 'Topper' by a hundred howls!"; produced by Hal Roach; virtually an exact copy of "My Man Godfrey", with a gentleman posing as a down-and-out man and taking a job as a butler to a rich society woman!; apparently, audiences did not mind the lack of originality, because the movie was a major box office success!) starring Constance Bennett, Brian Aherne, Alan Mowbray, Billie Burke (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Patsy Kelly, Ann Dvorak, Tom Brown, Bonita Granville, Marjorie Rambeau, Beulah Bondi, Phillip Reed, and Willie Best NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this set of stills has a great provenance! Johnny Crawford, who first came to fame as the son in the TV series "The Rifleman" and later became a band leader loved movies, and early on he collected many movie stills and more. This set of 8x10 stills was consigned to us from his collection! Note also that each still has a paper snipe on the back giving information about the scene on the front and one has an "approved" stamp on the back dating the still to 1937! Condition: very good.
