Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 26 1/2" x 35 3/4" [67 x 91 cm]. Note that this is one of a remarkable collection of 81 Mexican posters we are currently auctioning (in 81 separate auctions). They include many of the absolute best ones, including many Cabrals, and were assembled by a single collector over many years! This is a rare opportunity to add one or more of these posters to your collection! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and paper loss on the middle horizontal fold and on parts of the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the other two folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame. It appears that the blank borders of the poster were slightly trimmed, either before or after the poster was backed, so bear this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
