It has a caption below the image that reads "An Indian lieutenant of the Baluch Regiment led a spirited bayonet charge to capture ammunition from a Japanese dump in the Marlaban area. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order."

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had pretty minor fold and border wear, with two faint stains in the left and right of the bottom border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Many years ago, someone backed the poster on a thin linen with no excess and no restoration. Since that time, it was slightly roughly handled, and has picked up a few creases around the edges, both in the thin linen and the poster.
