An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Jessie Matthews was an English musical actress from the 1920s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: The Hound of the Baskervilles, Forever and a Day, Waltzes from Vienna, and Evergreen. She was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 1970s, so she could have afterwards referred to herself as "Dame Jessie Matthews", but apparently she didn't do that. She passed away in 1981 at the age of 74.
