Where Danger Lives, the 1950 John Farrow romantic crime thriller film noir ("Mitchum! Action!"; "Mitchum in action!"; "She's tempting in a penthouse and dangerous in a bordertown dive!"; "Screenplay by Charles Bennett"; about a doctor who falls in love with a girl who has attempted suicide, but doesn't find out that she's married until they become romantically involved) starring Robert Mitchum, Faith Domergue ("latest star discovery of Howard Hughes who brought you Jean Harlow and Jane Russell"; "Hollywood critics call her the screen's most exciting new star!"), Claude Rains, Maureen O'Sullivan, Charles Kemper, and Ray Teal

Artist: Mario Zamparelli
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this window card! Also note that this movie was produced by Howard Hughes, and he oversaw every aspect of the production, as he did with his other movies. He hired Mario Zamparelli to do the posters for this movie and most of the others he produced in the 1940s and 1950s, but Zamparelli REALLY delivered a spectacular piece of art on this window card (and it is not on any of the other posters for this movie, except for the three-sheet), which makes it one of the most desirable window cards of the 1950s! As noted above, we have never auctioned another window card, and we have only auctioned three three-sheets, and those have sold as high as $3,057! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: good. There are stains in the lower left corner and a few in the rest of the blank borders. This great card could be displayed as it is, or certainly, restoration can be performed, and it is quite likely the water stains would respond really well to restoration. Either way, the new owner will have a really rare and really cool window card to display!
