Kenton Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("New Thrills as the monster stalks again!"; "Original Story, Eric Taylor"; the fourth Universal Frankenstein movie after the three 1930s classics; in this entry, Bela Lugosi as Ygor resurrects the Frankenstein monster and takes him to the doctor's son and they must find a new brain!) starring Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"; as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein), Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill (as Doctor Bohmer), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Evelyn Ankers (as Elsa Frankenstein), Lon Chaney Jr. (as the Frankenstein monster), Holmes Herbert, and Janet Ann Gallow NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #4 in the title of the sale is not the number of the lobby card. Because we are selling more than one lobby card from this movie this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate the different sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, #3, etc..". Condition: very good. an area of surface paper loss in the top left blank corner and a similar area in the bottom right blank corner; a small remnant of yellowed tape in the top right blank corner; pinholes in each corner; a pinhole in the center of the top background area 1" below the top border; a few creases and some faint smudges around the edges of the card; a few pieces of tape on the back of the card that seem to have been put there for no real purpose. I would think most collectors would be very happy to own this wonderful card! Its defects are very minor, and I would think almost every collector could easily live with them, but of course, any talented restorer could easily do slight restoration to the card and it would look wonderful!
