Artist: Roger Kastel & Tony Seiniger Agency Important Added Info: Note that there are two important differences between the image on this poster and the one that was used on the regular one-sheet. The first is obvious, which is that there are multiple shark images (no doubt to create the illusion that it is advancing toward the swimmer) while on the one-sheet, there is only a single shark image. But there is another more interesting difference! On this poster, the swimmer is quite clearly topless (see our image). But on the one-sheet, they added "water bubbles" around her chest area, so it is not as obvious (no doubt because they were afraid of offending parents taking their kids to see the movie!). Note that we have only auctioned this poster once before, and that was 4 years ago, and it auctioned for $232! Note finally that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster had three horizontal creases, and it also has multiple additional partial horizontal creases caused by the poster being roughly handled while it was rolled. It has water staining at the top center and some scattered water staining through the mouth of the shark above the title and a lesser amount in the bottom center of the poster. The poster has real defects, and while it can certainly be restored, bear these defects in mind before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
