An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Hoosier Schoolmaster, the 1924 Oliver L. Sellers Indiana silent teaching romantic melodrama ("The Great Mid-Western Classic"; "From Edward Eggleston's Story") starring Jane Thomas, Henry Hull, Frank Dane, Mary Foy, and Walter Palm. Note that Henry Hull was born in 1890 and had been on stage since 1911. He made his first movie in 1916, but mostly appeared on the stage until 1934, when he played Magwitch in Great Expectations, and was memorable in Werewolf of London the following year. He was 34 when he made this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. The cardboard holder is broken at the left corners, but it does not affect the glass. There are stains on the cardboard. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
