An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Anne of Green Gables, the 1919 William Desmond Taylor silent adoption comedy melodrama (based on the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery; about an orphaned teen who is adopted by a kindly farmer and his sister, and she grows up with them) starring Mary Miles Minter (in the title role as Anne Shirley), Paul Kelly, Marcia Harris, Frederick Burton, and F.T. Chailee. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that this movie was remade in 1934 with Anne Shirley in the lead role (she was "Dawn O'Day" before this movie, but she became Anne Shirley after playing that part!).
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1919 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this great lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There is darkening and staining scattered down the left edge of the left blank border. There is a pinhole in the center of the top and bottom blank borders. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
