An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Nobody's Darling, the 1943 Anthony Mann family relationship show business girl-seeking-stardom musical (about a girl whose separated parents are stars, and they ignore her, and she decides to become a star herself, and she does!) starring Mary Lee ("America's Little Sister"), Louis Calhern (he is best remembered for his middle-aged roles, most notably in The Asphalt Jungle, but he started as a Broadway actor before World War I, then served in the war, and after he made a few films, but mostly was a Broadway actor until 1931!), Gladys George, Jackie Moran, Lee Patrick, Bennie Bartlett and Marcia Mae Jones. Note that Mary Lee was 19 years-old when this movie was made, and she had been a teenage singer, and she was just 4' 11", which may have contributed to her nickname "America's Little Sister". Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most insert posters were folded twice horizontally right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most inserts, especially from before 1970! Condition: good. There are smudges and some scuffs throughout the poster.
