Ingmar Bergman's Jungfrukallan (released in the U.S. as "The Virgin Spring"), the classic 1960 Ingmar Bergman Swedish brutal-rape-and-murder-followed-by-revenge-by-father melodrama ("Ravished innocence... brings terrible revenge!"; winner of the Academy Award & Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film) starring Max von Sydow, Birgitta Valberg, Gunnel Lindblom, Birgitta Pettersson, Axel Duberg, and Tor Isedal. Note that in 1972, this movie was remade (minus all the artistry, but with added brutality) as "The Last House on the Left".

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Swedish movie! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 12 1/4" x 23 1/2". Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: fair. There is a tear and tape stain at upper right extending into the girl's image. A small amount has been trimmed from the top and bottom edge of the poster. There is some uneven discoloration throughout the poster.
