Robertson family relationship juvenile musical melodrama ("From the story 'Heaven's Gate' by Florence Leighton Pflazgraf") starring Shirley Temple, Rosemary Ames, Joel McCrea, Lyle Talbot, Erin O'Brien-Moore, and Warren Hymer (he did not make it into the final print of the movie, because, for unknown reasons, his scenes were re-filmed by J. Farrell MacDonald, although his image is on at least one lobby card!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a very light paper backing (acid-free), that keeps the "feel" of the lobby card similar to that of the original lobby card. Some restorers prefer to paperback lobby cards on to a heavy backing, while others prefer to use a very lightweight backing. The advantage of a lightweight backing is that the card still "feels" like a regular lobby card, but a heavier backing makes restoration easier to do and less noticeable. What IS paperbacking? Prior to paperbacking, the card was heavily stained throughout and it had creases, tears, and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the lobby card was in fair condition prior to paperbacking. Only some of the stains in the image came out, and the person who did the restoration painted over large areas of the card, but left alone the faces of the stars, and there are still strong vertical stains in their faces, so please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this lobby card.
