The Actress, the 1928 Sidney Franklin silent London England theater stage acting romantic comedy ("Adapted from the play 'Trelawney of the Wells' by Sir Arthur Wing Pinero"; set in late 1800s London, about a troupe of traveling actors, and the romance between the star of the troupe and a man she meets) starring Norma Shearer, Ralph Forbes, Owen Moore, Gwen Lee, Lee Moran, Roy D'Arcy, Virginia Pearson, William Humphrey, and Effie Ellsler. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
