And the 5'2" brunette he wants to..."; "Based on a novel by Terry Davis") starring Matthew Modine, Linda Fiorentino (in her first movie, and pretty unrecognizable from how she looked in her later movies!), Michael Schoeffling, Ronny Cox, and a "special appearance" by Madonna. Note that Madonna appears in this movie as the lead singer in a local band, performing two songs, and this was her first significant appearance in a major motion picture!
