Artist: Roger Kastel & Tony Seiniger Agency Important Added Info: Note that we have auctioned the half-sheet from this movie 19 times in the past, but ALL of those were the "domestic" style (with the ratings). This is the very FIRST time we have auctioned this "international" style half-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). It is virtually the same as the domestic poster, except that it lacks the ratings box (and interestingly, they also chose not to include the line "May be too INTENSE for younger children"!).Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards. Also note that because this poster was paperbacked onto a thinner paper backing, it COULD be sent rolled, but we would MUCH prefer to send it in a large flat package (because we fear that rolling it, even into a wide tube, would have an excellent change of damaging it, so we will only send it in a tube if the buyer insists, and then they would be responsible for any damage), but otherwise, we will ship it in a large flat package, so bear that expense in mind before bidding on this poster. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had minor wear on the folds and tiny staple holes in the corners. It had a few tiny bits of paper loss near the center of the bottom blank border and a few faint creases scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
