An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 1/4" x 41") (Learn More) The Forgotten Step, the 1938 Leslie Fenton slice-of-life melodrama short subject ("as Told by John Nesbitt"; this entry in the series told the story of a wealthy art collector who lost his fortune in a stock market crash, and who then got the wacky idea to send his entire art collection on a ship, and to insure it for far more than its value, and to include a bomb with the art, which would be detonated, and he would then collect the insurance money; he apparently forgot a step, and the bomb went off as the collection was being loaded, killing the man, but saving the lives of everyone on the ship!). Note that this was one of a series of 64 MGM "Miniature" short subjects produced and narrated by John Nesbitt, made between 1938 and 1949, and distributed by MGM. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and scuffs on parts of some foldlines, and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
