Also included is an ad supplement that has 4 pages (Learn More) The Drowning Pool, the 1975 Stuart Rosenberg private-detective crime thriller sequel ("Harper days are here again!"; "Your favorite private eye is back in 'The Drowning Pool'"; "...Just a guy trying to keep his head above water."; "Your favorite private eye is back!"; "Based on the novel by Ross MacDonald") starring Paul Newman (reprising his role as Lew Harper from the 1966 movie "Harper", both movies based on novels by Ross MacDonald), Joanne Woodward ("As Iris"), Tony Franciosa, Linda Haynes, Melanie Griffith (in her third credited movie role!), Richard Jaeckel, and Gail Strickland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Also note that this pressbook was folded across the center at one time. Because of this, this pressbook can be sent in one of our standard size packages (if it is purchased together with pressbooks that can NOT be folded, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our oversized packages). But if this pressbook is purchased by itself (or solely with other pressbooks that can be folded), then the shipping will be much lower, because it fits in a standard package.
