Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Italian poster, which is an extremely rare pre-World War II Italian three-panel poster! Also note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II and earlier are among the most rare posters there are, and they were almost all not the standard Italian sizes that became standard in the late 1940s (the 39x55 one-panel, the 55x78 two-panel, etc). These are likely so rare because there were still major paper shortages in Italy right after World War II, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1937, and it is a three-panel poster, but the three panels when joined measure 39 1/4" x 80 1/2" (later, when there would be a standard Italian three-panel size, they measured 55" x 114". Also note that this Italian poster was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap. Also note that the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces).

Condition: good. The theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). There are some faint brown stains and tack holes around the edges, with a few faint stains scattered throughout the poster.
