Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Russian poster! Also note that the poster has an artist's signature on it, but we cannot read it. If anyone knows the name of this artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had light water staining in narrow strips along parts of the folds, with a larger amount in the center of the poster. The bottom 2" was folded back at one time and there were tiny bits of paper loss along that area. There were some tears in the lower left and upper left corners. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
