An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) TWA: Ireland, the 1960s airline aviation airplane travel poster designed to encourage people to fly Trans World Airlines to Ireland, and featuring artwork of Irish castles and churches by noted travel poster illustrator David Klein. Note that this poster was first made with a "Fly TWA Jets" tagline, and then an "up, up and away" style was made with that tagline in the lower right, and then the original one without the "up, up and away" was updated to "Fly TWA Superjets", so there are three versions of this poster. Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that there are two versions of this poster that we have auctioned. One has a tagline that reads "JETS" and one has "SUPERJETS". This is the version with "SUPERJETS"! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a large tear at upper right that has been backed with white conservation tape. It has small paper loss at upper left and some creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges. There is a small tear at bottom and there is a diagonal crease at lower left. It is otherwise generally in pretty nice condition and if some proper restoration was performed the poster would display well! Learn More about condition grades
