An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Sarah Cannon (known by her stage name Minnie Pearl) was a country western personality comedienne from the 1930s to the 1990s. She was famous for wearing hats that had a price tag on them and for her down home country greeting "Howdeeee". She was a 50 year member of the Grand Ole Opry, and was a cast member on TV's long running show "Hee Haw". She passed away in 1996 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Minnie Pearl! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
