He was never a top star, but he worked in movies and TV for many decades, and he always gave a good performance. He is probably best remembered for playing The Joker in the 1960s "Batman" television series. Some of his movies include: The Thin Man, The Good Fairy, Tales of Manhattan, Vera Cruz, and The Devil Is a Woman. Romero passed away in 1994 at the age of 86. We photographed the cover of the program, an interior 2-page spread, plus a number of clippings and other items that were sent to us with the program (see our many images). Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
