Complete Set of 8 Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Lobby Cards (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Double Bunk (released in Italy as "Pic-Nic in Bikini"), the 1961 C.M. Pennington-Richards English sexploitation comedy ("They doubled up and so will you"; "All aboard for fun and laughs!") starring Ian Carmichael, Janette Scott, Sidney James, Liz Fraser, Dennis Price, Noel Purcell, Naunton Wayne, Reginald Beckwith, Irene Handl, and Miles Malleson. Note that Janette Scott is best remembered for her starring role in "Day of the Triffids" in 1963, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." She divorced her first husband and married Mel Torme in 1966, which pretty much ended her career, as she quickly had two children. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There is a Canadian censor stamp in each card (see below). Each card has minor creases throughout the card. The card with the close-up of the man and woman has blue paint over the woman's body. This card also has a series of tiny circ. There is a Canadian censor stamp in an unobtrusive part of each card in the image area. Note that it is extremely time-consuming to individually describe the condition of each lobby card in a set of eight. Because of the large number of sets we sell, we will only note more significant defects in each individual card. We will NOT note every tiny border tear, stain, or pinhole.
