An Unfolded French Special Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 32 1/4" [62 x 82 cm]) (Learn More)

Alcoholismo (literally translates to "Alcoholism"), the circa 1900s French series of Spanish-language posters created by Dr. Gustave Philippon & Dr. Legrain which warn of the dangers of alcohol abuse. The posters feature information on the health issues caused by drinking (such as hallucinations, loss of motor control, paralysis and early aging) as well as social ills (such as hostility, embarrassing behavior and family neglect).

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a small tear at upper left in the blank border but overall it is in excellent condition!
