An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 10" x 12 3/4" [25 x 32 cm]) (Learn More) The Splendid Road, the 1925 Frank Lloyd silent California Gold Rush gambling romantic love triangle melodrama (about a woman with three orphan children who goes to California during the Gold Rush days, and gets involved with several men) starring Anna Q. Nilsson, Robert Frazer, Lionel Barrymore (as an old time professional gambler!), Edward Earle, Gladys Brockwell, Pauline Garon, Marceline Day, Russell Simpson, George Bancroft, Roy Laidlaw, and Mary Jane Irving. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Anna Q. Nilsson! Our consignor purchased this card from a collector who had obtained these autographs decades ago. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain the signature is authentic. Also note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 12 3/4" [25 x 32 cm]. Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a window card three lobby cards, and a few stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card (we are also currently auctioning four other signed lobby cards in four separate auctions)! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good. The card was trimmed on all four sides and then glued to an 11" x 14" board.
