Artist: Essex Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: good. This poster was linenbacked, but it was either NOT linenbacked by a very talented restorer, or it was linenbacked many years ago, and has received rough handling over the years, or it had fairly major defects that were not restorated at all. If it was restored, you can see signs of the restoration even from a distance. This is a poster that would greatly benefit from additional professional restoration. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster has holes at the crossfolds, a few other tiny holes within the image, and holes around the edges of the poster. There is small paper loss down the right border and pinholes in the corners. The entire poster has darkened somewhat. The person who linenbacked the poster just mounted the poster and left the defects alone.
