Sometimes they are found trimmed to 27" x 42", but the example offered here is complete and untrimmed! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and an extra slightly diagonal fold below the left half of the middle horizontal fold, with some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but unfortunately, after it was backed, it received significant water staining down the left 2", significantly affecting the left blank border of the poster and the linen beneath it, plus the excess linen area. It only slightly touches the image background in one place, but this is still a very significant defect, so bear it in mind before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
