Date Sold 10/12/2010 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 6 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Snow Dog, the 1950 Frank McDonald western Canadian Mounted Police adventure thriller ("Suggested by James Oliver Curwood's 'Tentacles of the North'") starring Kirby Grant, Elena Verdugo, Rick Vallin, Milburn Stone Milburn Stone, and Chinook ("The Wonder Dog"). Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! There is paper loss and tattering around the edges of some of the cards. There are yellowed pieces of tape and surface paper loss in the image area at lower right in each card.
