An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2"; contains 18 supplements, and 3 stills) (Learn More) American Film Theatre Second Season, the 1974 poster announcing the second season of movies released by American Film Theatre including: Galileo, Jacques Brel, In Celebration, The Man in the Glass Booth, and The Maids. Note that each of these movies was a filmed version of a Broadway play, but not simply a film version, but a full movie with added production values of each of the plays! While this was a wonderful idea, apparently it did not meet with a great success, because it was solely done in 1973 and 1974. How wonderful it would be if this had continued through to the present, and how much more wonderful would it have been had it been done all the way back into the 1920s! Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and four of the stills (less than four if the presskit has less than four stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Condition: very good. Note that the vast majority of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are usually in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image.
