Note that director Sacha Guitry was a major figure of French cinema and French stage plays. He wrote his first play while still a teenager, and did not get involved with movies until he was 30, but then he wrote, directed, and sometimes starred in a huge volume of work, both on the stage and the screen. He was accused of collaborating with the Nazis in World War II, and although he was allowed to work again in 1947, his career was never the same. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
