Mighty Lak A Rose, the 1923 Edwin Carewe silent romantic crime redemption melodrama ("One in poverty - the other in darkness. A love tryst to each other made. When the light Pierced - did she remember?"; "A symphony of life and love in the high and low places by Curtis Benton"; a sentimental story of a blind violinist who is used as a decoy by a gang of crooks; but her purity rubs off on them, and they decide to "go straight", but they realize they want to pull one last job so they can get the money for her to have an operation that will let her see again!) starring James Rennie, Sam Hardy, Anders Randolf, Harry Short, and Dorothy Mackaill (in the title role as Rose Duncan). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42 1/2" [71 x 108 cm].

Condition: good. The poster is fragile and has stains, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges, with water staining in the bottom 3-5". It has a series of tears in the bottom center. Someone put masking tape on the front and back of the extreme outer edge of the top and bottom borders, and they also put tape on the back of some tears at bottom center, and also repaired some of the tears around the edges with tape. But in spite of all these defects and amateur repairs, the image area is in surprisingly nice condition, and a restorer can certainly remove the tape and properly back the poster, and afterwards it will look great.
