NOW the Screen's Super Sleuth!"; "Radio's Original Fat Man") starring J. Scott Smart (in the title role as Detective Brad Runyon, known as "The Fat Man"), Julie London, Rock Hudson (very young in this role, and third billed!), Clinton Sundberg, and Emmett Kelly (billed as "introducing The World Famous Clown Emmett Kelly"). Note that the characters in this movie came from a story by Dashiell Hammett, who had of course much earlier created the characters in "The Thin Man" series, which had proved extraordinarily popular in the movies. Unfortunately, "The Fat Man" did not have the same appeal as "The Thin Man"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is a 1" tear in the right of the top edge and there is some tattering and staining around the edges of the poster.
