If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there are two different versions of this Japanese press sheet. They measure the same, and at first glance they look the same, but one has a tiny Fox logo on the front, and the other has a larger one. Also, one includes a nude image of Marilyn on the back (her famous calendar pose), and the other does not. We feel certain both are original, and we don't know if one predates the other. Also note that this Japanese press sheet measures 10" x 26 1/4" [25 x 67 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had six pinholes and some tiny stains in the top border. There is slight bleed-through from the printing on the back throughout the poster, and it is somewhat noticeable in Marilyn's image, but it is not all that distracting, but it definitely affects the viewing of the image (but of course, all examples of this poster would have the same problem). Otherwise, it had very minor wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
