An Original Vintage Unfolded Window Card Stage Show Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) World's Fair Freaks, the 1939 poster ("18 stages 18"; "Direct from World Fairs of the World") advertising a stage show displaying human oddities held at the World's Fair in New York City. Note that this poster features art of an African native woman with lip plates! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we found information on the Internet saying that this card was from when this act performed at the 1939 New York World's Fair. We can't be 100% certain of that, but it is surely a vintage window card that seems to surely be from the 1940s or earlier, and may well be from 1939. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The poster has darkening in the outer edges of the blank borders and is otherwise in excellent condition! Learn More about condition grades
