An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Flying Tigers, the 1942 David Miller World War II (WWII) military airplane aviation pilot dogfight action thriller ("Headed for the greatest entertainment ovation given a motion picture in years..."; "Strong brave men flying in the face of death that we may live"; "See these sky-devils revenge Pearl Harbor and strike terror to Tokyo"; "Original Story by Kenneth Gamet"; about the Flying Tigers, the remarkable American volunteer group which flew missions against the Japanese in China before America's entry into World War II) starring John Wayne, John Carroll, Anna Lee, Paul Kelly, Gordon Jones, Bill Shirley, Mae Clarke, Tom Neal, "and a cast of thousands" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that I have never seen or heard of another example of this B style one-sheet from "Flying Tigers"! Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. There were some areas of paper loss in the blank corners and at the ends of the foldlines in the blank borders. There were creases and tiny tears on some foldlines. There were extra creases along the bottom foldline and small paper loss at the bottom crossfold. The poster was well linenbacked. You can see signs of the restoration from close up, but from any distance away the poster looks great! Learn More about condition grades
