Date Sold 12/14/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Unfolded Music Poster (measures 14" x 23 1/4" [36 x 59 cm]) (Learn More) Jefferson Airplane/Paupers, the 1967 rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music poster ("Bill Graham presents in San Francisco"; BG-63) promoting a concert featuring Jefferson Airplane and The Paupers which took place at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, California from May 12th to the 14th. Note that this poster features wild art by Bonnie MacLean & Herb Greene NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bonnie MacLean & Herb Greene Important Added Info: Note that this poster is for the Jefferson Airplane concert held at The Fillmore, May 12 to 14, 1967, in San Francisco, presented by Bill Graham ("and from Canada The Paupers"). This poster is from the first printing of this poster in 1967, as verified by Internet research. Note that in September 2017, we auctioned a collection of 16 rock 'n' roll music posters (from 1966 and 1967), and they auctioned for between $70 and $652 each! In October 2017, we were consigned 26 similar posters from a different consignor, most from 1967 to 1969, and those auctioned for between $40 and $1,050 each. Now we have been consigned another collection of 35 similar posters from a third consignor. Like the previous two collections, all of these are vintage posters from the late 1960s, each from the exact year indicated on the auctions for each. However, ALL of these 35 are from the first printing of the poster from BEFORE the concert, and all are from Bill Graham San Francisco concerts! This is another very rare opportunity to acquire very rare and desirable 1960s rock 'n' roll posters, and we guarantee that each poster is from the year we indicate and is the first printing of that poster. Finally, note that while this poster COULD be sent rolled in a tube, we would much prefer to send it in a flat package. But we will leave that to the choice of the winning bidder (but if they have us send it rolled in a tube, they will have to accept responsibility if rolling it causes any damage). Condition: good to very good. There is an enlarged pinhole in each corner and a 1" tear in the upper right border, but solely in the background. Learn More about condition grades
