Swing Fever, the 1944 Tim Whelan musical swing-dancing comedy ("Dance! Sing! It's Joyous!") starring Kay Kyser & His Orchestra, Marilyn Maxwell, William Gargan, Nat Pendleton, Lena Horne, ("featuring") Harry Babbitt, Sully Mason, Ish Kabbible, Julie Conway, Trudy Irwin and Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom

Artist: Al Hirschfeld

Condition: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, tiny tears, and some very tiny paper loss on several foldlines. There were creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was backed fairly well, but the restorer did not do very much restoration at all along the foldlines, and the defects are somewhat noticeable. If I owned the poster, I would see if a restorer could touch up the foldlines without re-backing the poster, which I believe is likely.
